Comerica Park Parking: 2024 Tigers Parking Guide

Parking Near Comerica Park: An Overview

Securing a parking spot while cheering on your Detroit Tigers can be a tricky task. However, all lots owned and operated by Olympia Development in The District Detroit have modernized and improved facilities.

Not only are these spaces paved and secure, they also feature LED lighting, ornamental fencing, and accept payment via credit cards. There's an option for everyone, whether you're looking for general, reserved, or ADA-compliant parking.

Where to Purchase Parking at Comerica Park

For general parking near Comerica Park, there are numerous parking lots in The District Detroit open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking facility access is generally available two hours before game time. Bear in mind that vehicles will be directed into spaces, and reserving spaces isn't allowed. Unfortunately, tailgating and in-and-out privileges are prohibited in any parking facility.

The Detroit Tigers also have a partnership with ParkWhiz allowing you to select your garage and purchase parking in advance of game day.

How Much Does It Cost to Park at a Tigers Game?

The cost to park at a Detroit Tigers game can vary based on several factors. For exact prices, it's recommended to check each of the local garages. Spaces with close proximity to the stadium may come at a premium, but parking generally costs between $16 – $30.

For those who frequently attend games and would like a reserved spot, limited reserved parking spaces are available for Luxury Suites, On-Deck Circle, Club Seat, and regular Season Ticketholders. For information on the availability of season parking permits, feel free to call Olympia Development Parking Services at (313) 471-2255.

Special Provisions for ADA/Disabled Parking

Comerica Park is fully equipped to accommodate fans with disabilities. All Olympia Development parking facilities have ADA-compliant parking spaces. The disabled spaces in the reserved parking facilities are for use by guests that have the appropriate reserved area parking permit and a state issued license plate or placard.

On game days, special disabled parking areas are available in 61 E. Elizabeth and the D Garage, accessible from Woodward and Elizabeth.

Guidelines for Oversized Vehicles, Shuttles, Group Buses, and Limousines

For fans with oversized vehicles, parking is only allowed on the Fisher Service Drive, and not in any ODM parking lot. Shuttles have a designated drop-off/pick-up area, and local businesses may also provide shuttle services. Group buses and limousines have specific parking areas and are also subject to the first come, first served policy. Be sure to plan your Detroit Tigers parking strategy for a smooth and enjoyable game day experience.
