Smoothie King Center Bag Policy
According to the 2023 Smoothie King Center bag policy, a clear bag policy will be in effect for all events at the arena. When attending an NBA game, concert, or comedy show at the Smoothie King Center, it's essential to be aware of what items are permitted and which are prohibited. By familiarizing yourself with these guidelines, you'll be better prepared for a smooth entry and can fully enjoy the event you're attending. What Can I Bring to the Smoothie King Center?
Clear Bag Policy
When attending a concert or basketball game, all bags must be clear, and under 14″ x 14″ x 6″. In addition, gallon-sized Ziploc bags are also permitted.

Permitted Items:
- Clear Bags: Only clear vinyl bags no larger than 14″ x 14″ x 6″
- Gallon-sized Ziploc bags (limit 1): freezer bags or similar
- Small clutch purses: no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ are permitted.
- Service Animals: Animals are generally prohibited, but service animals assisting ADA patrons are allowed within the venue.
- Banners/Signs/Flags: These are allowed as long as they are in good taste, not offensive, and meet the venue's specific requirements.
- Bags: Only clear vinyl bags no larger than 14″ wide x 14″ height x 6″ deep, gallon-sized Ziploc bags (limit 1), and small clutch purses no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ are permitted. Non-clear diaper bags are not allowed.

Prohibited Items:
- Animals: Except for service animals assisting ADA patrons, no animals are allowed.
- Backpacks/Knapsacks: These are not permitted within the venue.
- Banners: Those that are large or in poor taste are not allowed.
- Bats, Clubs: These and similar items are prohibited.
- Beach Balls, Helium Balloons: These are not allowed inside the venue.
- Bottles, Cans, and Containers: These are not permitted.
- Contraband, Fireworks: These items are strictly prohibited.
- Food & Beverages: While outside food and drinks are not allowed, the Smoothie King Center offers a variety of food and beverages for purchase during all events.
- Glass, Glitter: These are not allowed within the venue.
- iPads, Large/Oversized Bags: These are not permitted.
- Non-clear diaper bags: are not allowed.
- Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or Drones: The possession, operation, or use of these is prohibited without prior written permission from management.
- Strollers: These are prohibited during New Orleans Pelicans games but are allowed at all other events.
No Backpacks are Permitted in the Arena
It is important to note that under the Smoothie King bag policy, backpacks of any size are strictly prohibited. Guests with backpacks will not be granted entry and will need to make alternative arrangements for their belongings.
Lost & Found
If you find yourself in need of lost and found services during an event at the Smoothie King Center, there are two convenient locations to assist you. The first Guest Services Booth is situated on the 100 Level, adjacent to section 108. Alternatively, there is another booth located on the 300 Level, right next to section 310. Visit either of these booths to inquire about lost items or to report any found items.
