Methodology
The ArenaCapacity Bag Policy Index aggregates bag policies from 296 venues across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA, MLS, and concert circuits in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Each row reflects the policy as published on the venue’s official site or operator page (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, FIFA, Live Nation, AEG), verified quarterly. The “Verified” column shows when each row was last reviewed.
Definitions. A bag policy is “clear required” when only see-through bags are permitted regardless of size. “Recommended” means clear bags are encouraged for faster entry but not mandatory. “Not required” means soft-sided bags within the listed size limit are accepted. Backpack rules apply to traditional school-style backpacks; many venues that disallow backpacks still permit small drawstring bags within size limits.
